For the price the property was very basic and run down. Extremely overpriced.

We liked the look of the property but there were so many mosquitoes around that you couldn’t sit outside and aircon went off in the middle of the night so it was warm and hard to sleep. Buffet dinner was expensive.

Dear Guest, I am sorry you did not enjoy all aspects of your stay, the mosquitos are at their worst on dusk and dawn and it is advisable to stay inside during those times. Kind Regards Chris Chaffe General Manager

We arrived in the early evening, and the crocodile eyes glowing red was a nice touch. Food was good and staff prompt. There's not a lot of paring at reception, so you may have to continue down (we had to go to the second big circle car-park) and then walk back to check-in. Worst thing I can say was that the fan was controlled by a remote hidden under a cushion, and with the combination of being unable to find the controls and the room instructions mentioning the air-conditioning and not the fan we, thought the fan was no longer in service until just before check-out.

The attraction of staying in a croc shaped place was why we decided to spend the extra cash on accommodation. However the place was rundown - there was a power point setup in the middle of the room wall that you would not see in a 1 star hotel in Asia - the shower sprayed out at right angles wetting the bathroom - the grounds including the pool area was not inviting - the buffet dinner was disappointing. Defiantly not worth the extra spend compared to other accommodation options. We wished we had have stayed at Cooinda - instead of driving to Jabiru after doing the sunset cruise on yellow waters. Would have been cheaper and Cooinda looked to have more of a vibe at the pub / restaurant as well.

The shape was unique and we wanted a few postcards of it but they didn’t sell aerial shots. The bar and diningroom staff were friendly. The hotel was expensive. It was obvious that it was undergoing updating in some areas. Clean rooms. We booked for 4 people and were given 2 bath towels. No ice machine. Went to reception for pool towels as per the pool sign, to be told they were in the room wardrobe- no towels. Pool lounges legs collapse so I suggest a chair. Reception staff varies from good to disappointing.
