It’s walkable from lots of places. Especially the bubble tea shop just opposite the building.

Central location and budget accommodation, the room can be hard to access due to the stairs and the parking can be an issue. No TV or radio inside the room but fridge, coffee and tea is available. The room was clean and tidy but a bit outdated. The staff was friendly and helpful and we got a 2x1 voucher for tap beers.

Great spot, main st of Hobart always thriving even on a cold weekday, staff were on hand for anything and everything, especially the cutie behind the reception desk. Would recommend and would stay again if ever in Hobart. Screw Flanders, screw Flanders, screw Flanders, screw Flanders, screw Flanders

I will not suggest anyone to stay at this hostel. The word free parking should be well explained. What I try to say is I looked for 24 hour free parking not street parking

Central location.

Pros: Location.
Cons: Two chairs and a table would have been nice. Ladder to get into top bunk bed was tricky.
Location: Central with everything nearby
Basic but clean facilities. Central location. Bar prices were fierce, but there was free live entertainment.

Good dinning and pub

Like the hotel bar and restaurant...the room is a bit too under standard. Double room needs at least two chairs but one. I'll still recommend it to friends as the location is great.

Hostel above a noisy pub - don't market otherwise

Impossible to rest or sleep despite "double glazed windows"

Ok rooms. But overall not great.

Pros: The pub and the food downstairs.
Cons: The kitchen. It was absolutely disgusting.
Location: Right in the middle of hobart. Close to salamanca, north hobart, etc. Bus from around the corner to Mona.
The rooms were very basic but ok. Bed was ok. Not at all bad for the price. Shared bathroom and toilet. It's alright at off peak times but we found everytime we wanted a shower it was occupied. There's only one shower and one toilet on our floor between like 10 rooms. Our room was number 18. Don't ever get this one! It's right at the back on the corner 2 windows (which you can't open). Sun beams in making it a sauner (may be ok for winter). But it's right at the back where everyone sits and chats when having a cigarette so it's pretty annoying if you feel like you want a little bit of privacy with your private room. The kitchen was absolutely disgusting the one night we decided to cook in it. Didn't again. For eg. Turned the oven on and 20mins later when opened just black smoke came out obviously from burnt food on the bottom. Everything else was just gross. On arrival you get a 2 for 1 drink card to use once. However they fail to mention it's only for cascade or house wine. it's actually cheaper just to go elsewhere for happy hour and drink something you actually like. Didn't even bother with it. Great location though. The pub is good too, nice food. Doubt I'd stay again though... I'd rather just go for a drink.
