Good size, but serious cleanliness issues in bath
I've stayed with APA a few times, and I usually go back because I know exactly what to expect. Their rooms are generally very small but they are clean, stylish, and have all the amenities I require for a short business trip, plus the price is generally reasonable. Unfortunately this particular room was not up to APA's standard in my opinion. The room itself was larger than usual for APA because it seemed to be in a converted apartment building, so this was a nice surprise. However, the bathroom / shower area was shockingly dirty. There was mildew growing in every corner of the room and the bathtub was filled with hairs from the previous guests. Actually there was a strong musty smell coming from the whole bathroom, so I left the door closed during my two night stay to avoid the odor filling the rest of the room. I suppose I should have complained and requested a different room, but I arrived after a long train ride and just wanted to rest. Considering how bad my particular room was anyway (it was clear that the mildew / odors had not been cleaned for a very long time), I suspected that another room might not be much better. I will probably stay with APA again in the future for the reasons I mentioned at the beginning of my review, but I will definitely avoid this particular location.
