Disappointing stay at the Manor

Pros: Quiet, pleasant surroundings
Cons: Better arrangement room facilities.
Location: Located close to McLaren Vale wineries. An abundance of shops and places to eat. Close to Adelaide, Victor Harbour. Beautiful beaches nearby
Accommodation very basic. Continental breakfast included in package, consisted of cereal and toast, no area in the room to prepare breakfast. Shared bathroom not thoroughly cleaned each day. Bar fridge in room situated next to the bed so disturbs sleep.

Mixed feelings about this hotel

Pros: The kitchenette was nice and there were a lot of chocolates. A bottle of champagne was provided free of charge.
Cons: The building could be maintained better - a split in the front door did not give a good impression. The room could not be locked internally.
Location: Pretty location near Clarendon in the Adelaide Hills.
The hotel appeared to be a family country house which has been transformed into a place that can take paying guests. There were chickens, peacocks, horses and cows in the surrounding grounds. It was fairly remote and a car would be necessary to stay there as it isn't close to shops or services. The décor was pretentious. It was also expensive for what it was.

Pros: Secluded, quiet, beautiful surroundings, Raj the butler.
Cons: $400 to hire the luxury vehicle for 8 hours. We just wanted in for 1 :(

Pros: The location was nice - enjoyed the surrounding gardens and the quiet.
Cons: No hot water for two days, bath doesn't actually work. It was quite hot at night and there is no a/c. Steep price for fairly average accommodation.
