My family and I had a most wonderful day at the Grand Canyon Plaza Hotel Everything is very conveniently located to the hotel. There are many dining options within walking distance, the rooms have been thoughtfully designed to have everything that you might need. But the thing that makes this hotel, truly exceptional is the genuine, warm and cared that the staff show to each and every guest. It is not often new, encountered this kind of wonderful experience. I am very happy to recommend this hotel to any family who is traveling to the Grand Canyon.

Thank you Grand Canyon Plaza Hotel for a wonderful stay! Location and easy access to the national park was perfect. Thank you for the dog treats as well, our beagles were happy pups! And most of all, thank you to the staff for addressing our concerns about the noise from the room directly above us. We really appreciated you accommodating us into a new room. Looking forward to our next Grand Canyon adventure and stay with you!

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had staying at a hotel. Our first room we noticed the heater wasn’t running well and come to find out it appeared the filter was long overdo for replacement as we noticed dust particles were flying through the air. I then ran my fingers across the beautiful pictures of the Grand Canyon hanging above the beds and noticed those too were covered in dust. It seemed as if the rooms were not being cleaned properly. My gf then went to the front desk to respectfully request a change of rooms, with good reason. The gentleman at the front desk greeted her with attitude making statements such as “the last people staying in that room did not seem to have an issue”. We eventually were granted a change of rooms, one room over. We immediately noticed the uncleanliness of our first room was not uncommon for this hotel as the same problems we present in the “new” room, except in this room, we noticed an empty vodka bottle underneath the bed along with other miscellaneous trash. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.

After a long day at the Grand Canyon we were kept awake by a rowdy group in the hot tub. Unfortunately, the hot tub sits in the atrium and all rooms open to the atrium. It is loud and echos. My only complaint is that the hot tub isn't enclosed so it doesnt disturb those of us trying to rest.
