Letโs put this in perspective. You booked for 2 people and turned up with 5 people at 10pm. The room you booked has maximum of 2 people. We displaced friends who were in an apartment which had 3 night minimum stay hence we lost income from this apartment because you booked incorrectly. As far as the the smell may have been from the pool that we had to extra chlorinate for the weekend so guest could use it. I may have seemed rude but we were also busy running a restaurant when you turned up trying to be dishonest with more people than you had booked. You were the second people who tried the same thing that night. We did accomodate you as we could have sent the extras away and your right you did leave a nasty review for your dishonest booking.

Sorry your stay was not ideal. Parking was available to unload at front of the lodge and then park after which happens in busy periods to allow emergency vehicles to access the accommodation. As the village is designed as a ski in ski out in winter the roads are covered in snow there is not any parking at the lodge. Unfortunately check in is at 4pm to accommodate for our extra Covid cleaning that is required at the moment. Rooms are as advertised designed for winter, you only sleep in the room and then are out all day and eat out at night. We do have larger rooms that you can book as well. Also with colder weather they are easier to keep warm. We can not control the weather and the wonder of the Alpine area is the cooler weather we have when it is hot below at sea level. We do not get many visitors in the summer normally and this year it was extremely busy with many cafe's etc caught out and not able to keep up with demand. Most of our bookings were made only a few days before arrival we can not predict and stock up for this as we had large losses in winter from being stocked for months ahead and then this was cancelled meaning we had to dispose of and the cost high. Once again sorry things were not up to your expectation.

Thanks for the review they help us to improve. Unfortunately you had come at a time when the country is locking down and hence we have no staff as we normally open on weekends for the restaurant. We did guide you to what was open and you seemed happy with that. As explained as are in our property description the spa and pool operate in peak periods of which unfortunately it is not currently. Also as explained to you the spa takes a couple of hours to heat up and your request at 7 pm was too late for us to have it heated before the close time of 9 pm. We also note that we have video that you also opened the blinds to our honesty blinds on the bar to look through it as well on that evening. So sorry we could not meet your request at the late time of enquiry.

We are blessed to live in such a great place which make all our staff happy to look after our guests. We are always trying to update and improve as we develop our lodge. Last year we did work on one of our apartments and this year working on our lodge rooms over summer. Hope to see you again soon.
