The managers were engaging and breakfast was just great The stairs to your room were a little steep, especially with a big bag and the acoustics between downstairs and upstairs not so good but overall a great place to stay

My friend, with whom I shared a room, and myself highly recommend staying at Cambridge House. I stayed there a couple of years ago so knew I would not be disappointed. Karen and Glen are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are absolutely delicious and set you up for the day. The beds are comfortable and the rooms very clean and well laid out. If you are planning on visiting the beautiful Huon Valley this is the home in which to stay and don't forget to check out the platypus playing in the stream which runs alongside their property.

Thank you so much Di for the fantastic rating & review! ( And apologies for the tardy response ). We were so please you thought enough of your first stay with us that you chose to come back - & bring Rose with you too! We hope to see you both again - maybe Rose sooner if she makes the tree change. Best wishes to you both, Karen.

Comfortable cottage in in tranquil surrounds

Pros: The breakfast was excellent. We could text our queries via mobile without interrupting the hosts.
Cons: The pillows were too flat.
Location: Easy driving distance to local eateries. Tahune Tree walk, was fantastic was only 40 minutes drive from the cottage.
CAmbridge Cottage was very comfortable with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The gardens were very pleasant and we thrilled at the opportunity to see Platapus in the creek that ran alongside the property.

Thanks Duncan for our lovely review, we're pleased you enjoyed our breakfasts & especially happy that you got to see our platypus! As for the pillows, we find it hard to choose those that suit everybody so we do supply 2 and opt for "medium" in height. Best wishes, Karen & Glen.

Cozy and comfortable

Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
Location: Close to The Tahune airwalk and Hartz Mountains. we attended the Huon Valley MId winter festival which was about a 20 minute drive away.
Lovely comfortable accommodation. Karen was very welcoming and helpful. The room was very comfortable and cozy, with generous luxury towels and linen. The breakfast was huge and delicious and included lovely home grown produce. The rhubarb was amazing! Beautiful surroundings and Karen directed me to see the local platypus in the river at the bottom of the garden. Recommend Cambridge house highly.
