Alas, wife and I (aged pensioners) arrived in the wet. No one at reception until Valentin appeared after 10/15 mins and many calls on the bell. We had to carry our modest bags upstairs , negotiating a small fire door opening against us at top of stairs. Difficult with no spare hands. We have experience of small hotels and fire regs. Layout needs to be changed. Room 312. Table lamp not working. Valentin to his credit went to rectify but returned saying fuse probably blown. Had he taken spare bulb, I would have agreed. WC cistern leaking into pan all the time. Reported both to check out lady on departure. She wasn’t particularly interested. Booked an alarm call with Valentin for 0715 Sunday morning. He confirmed but call never came.
Alas the dinner was overcooked with the shared platter disappointing.
Sorry we cannot provide a better report.
