Getting Around Jakarta

Have you ever heard of an ojek? It’s a motorcycle taxi that’s extremely popular in densely populated countries like Indonesia. Trust us, you’re going to fall in with these two-wheeled beasts…especially when you’re weaving through Jakarta’s notorious traffic. For the 20km drive from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK) to Wotif’s hotels in Jakarta, we recommend taking a regular taxicab. Other than that, ojeks are perfect.

When You Land…

It’s a grilled meat skewer of beef or chicken…or both, if you’re into that. Jakarta holidays aren’t complete without eating sate at least a dozen times.
