We booked into this property only because it was 'pet-friendly'. Initially I was very disappointed in the unkempt appearance and the fact we had to haul our gear up outside stairs. However the apartment was reasonably large and clean.

Nice hotel outside of Wellington

Pros: Large space, spa bath actually works. Lady at the front desk was warm and inviting. I liked the fan in the room, made the stay more comfortable.
Cons: The lounge needs to be updated
Was travelling north and needed a place to stay after hopping off the ferry in Wellington

Comfortable Motel

Location: Only a 10min walk to the local train station, with the train ride taking about 50mins straight into Wellington. About a 5min walk to a 24hr service s
Room was clean on arrival and the smell of disinfectant was evident (which was good as this meant it had been cleaned properly). Bed was quite comfortable. No road noise. Manager was very accommodating with regard to our booking.

Pros: Excellent free wifi
Cons: Thin walls - could clearly hear the neighbours though them.
