Historic dwelling

Pros: I liked that I could see the care and attention that has been given to this lovely old house
Cons: I think they forgot to leave a dishcloth in the cupboard and believe it or not I missed that item.
Location: Well placed near Swansea for easy access to small town no day trip to freycinet. Only room for two which suited us. The bed was very comfortable.
The house has been lovingly restored and is well maintained and very attractive.

Cute little cottage

Lovely little cottage. Nice for a romantic weekend. We found it a bit too far from the town center, 30 min walk. However if you didn't enjoy the wineries as much as us and could drive that'd be fine.

Beautiful Stay

My Partner and I had a very nice stay , enjoyed the Charmes of the Cottage . Especially the Fire Place and Spa. Loved the Apples on the Trees . Looking forward to our next stay. Bec & Kim.

Romantic little getaway for two

We were looking for a peaceful, romantic getaway on the coast and this cottage ticked all the boxes! Spa, fire, cottage garden... Would suggest adding 'finer' wine glasses to the kitchen; it is located in a glorious wine region after all x

Quaint cottage

Pros: Out of town, quiet, well equipped, even a washing machine with all you needed to wash travel weary clothes.
Cons: The orchard and gardens must have been magnificent once, shame they have been let go. We pulled up some of the long grasses and did some watering.
Location: An hour from Freycinet Nat. Pk where we spent a great day. Nice foreshore walks in Swansea. Kate's Berry farm really great. Spiky Bridge also
A trip back into time but with all necessary mod cons. Close to Swansea which had great shops and cafes especially the Morris shop attached to the foreshore IGA which had absolutely all you needed. The RSL Bistro provided inexpensive meals but book early. Artifakt cafe good also.

Disappointing stay

Nice area, terribly maintained gardens. Dead roses and bushes everywhere and super long lawns. They knew we were having our wedding there and while we weren't expecting immaculate gardens, generaly tidying of the place would have been really appreciated. Trying to get in contact with the owners was near impossible. We had to find a lawn mower and mow lawns ourselves

Beautiful Stone Cottage set in a lovely garden :)

Pros: Comfort and character..the spa and reasonably well appointed...Fireplace was a blessing when a couple of nights grew chilly :o
Cons: WiFI...considering the tariff...Basic kitchen items, decent knife, foil, gladwrap and some oil for cooking perhaps?
Location: Central location, small coastal town with nice beaches nearby, reasonable shops and facilities close by as it is on the edge of Swanswa itself.
Keefers is the ideal place to stay for couples who are looking for a quiet, laid back holiday. Centrally located in the middle of the East Coast it allows easy access to lots of places. It has a charming laid back character that reflects much of Tasmania itself. It is a lovely place to stay for a couple of days but anything longer, I suggest you bring kitchen basics with you, if you are planning to cook, as we did during our eight day stay...some spices, oil etc.... If you are with Telstra phone coverage is not an issue...anything else is sketchy at best. WiFi is not available and that is a shame, considering the lack of communication. Other than that.... I cannot fault the property and would not hesitate to recommend it :)

Wow! The PERFECT place for couples.

Pros: Position Grounds Comfort Character
Cons: The ONLY thing that may be improved is - maybe some other form of heating? And a better knife in the kitchen.
Location: Be warned - there is virtually nowhere to eat in Swansea any more. The best fish and chip shop closed, and the other is best avoided.
We just stayed here for the second time. It was even better than the first - perfect weather, beautiful surroundings (the roses are all in bloom) and ultra comfortable cottage. This place is a gem, and we are going back to celebrate my birthday in 3 months. Please note - this property is for couples only - 1 bedroom and 1 bed (which is EXTREMELY comfortable, BTW)..
