Well away from the centre of Dubai City but good value for money and taxis are cheap and plentiful. This is not a 6 star property but it does not promote itself as that either - I chose an Executive Suite for my business trip and feel it was very good value for money - the staff were very helpful

Convenient

Pros: Shuttle bus
Cons: Extra pick ups from shuttle drop off locations
Location: Close to La Mer and Jumeriah beach
Hotel was good and central to all tourist spots. Buffet breakfast very good.

Comfortable hotel & would recommend

Pros: Very comfortable and quiet.
Cons: I found it lived up to my expectations.
Location: It was handy having a supermarket next door to buy food.
I found the Mercure Gold Hotel in Dubai safe & comfortable. The staff were very helpful & there were many choices for meals. We had room service for dinner one night of our stay & was very impressed.
