The room wasn't properly clean. The entire carpet smelled of sand; the illumination was so poor that my family had to remove all of the carpet to see well. The wood floor had a hole, and the bathroom view was hung. Also, I try to call Expedia to complain about the situation. We check out on the 01st of January at 11:00 am.

The only good I thought was its close to Dubai Mall, but with traffic and signals and main road, its better to drive everywhere. Breakfast was good. And the beds were comfortable.

The Apartments at the Hotel are old and dated compared to Al-Ghurair Living. Also the windows are not properly double glazed so the traffic noise is on whole night as Apartments next to busy highway . Very hard to sleep. You have to wait for a buggy/golf cart to go for breakfast or walk. Not very convenient. The hotel is perfect for Dubai Mall. The breakfast is not upto standard aa menu is limited and very congested. The whole place needs a makeover. Should be a 3-Star not a 5-Star. Only positive was the Staff were courteous. I would suggest Al-Ghurair to any visitor as the apartments and hotel rooms are in one location and there is a mall within. Not satisfied with my stay in this other hotel
