the location was great. some easy walks around the property wonderful. the view from the room was great able to see wildlife. close to cradle mountain trails. the tavern bar and bistro staff and food were great. the only disappointment was the service in the highland restaurant for dinner.

My elderly parents and i stayed here for two nights during our trip around tasmania! The cabin was v clean and comfortable! Loved the addition of a gas log fire! The little balcony was very relaxing yo sit snd read a book. Saw a pandemelon wallaby hop by!! The only drawback was the restaurant, the breakfast was lovely but the tavern food was expensive and average!

Perfectly located to easy walking tracks and lots of wildlife. The tavern was great but a bit disappointed in the meal at the restaurant. The duck was not tasty and dry. Everyone else had excellent meals. The Morton Bay bugs looked amazing and tasted great.
