Pros: Quaint.
Cons: See above.
Location: Little on at the nearby entertainment area at time of visit. Nice around the Hoe.
No porter service - steep steps at front of hotel. Creaking floors - in room and above. No fridge, wine glasses or air cooling. Mattress with faulty springs and hard edge. Generally, dilapidated.

Nice hotel, close to city centre

Pros: Position very central and also good for public transport. Excellent ambience.
Cons: Our double room should really have been a single as bathroom door could not be opened fully as it hit the double bed.
Location: Close to all attractions, many of which were within walking distance.
Room was a bit cramped but well appointed. Think we made a mistake about breakfast (didn't have a cooked breakfast) as the bill for cereal, tea and toast was £11 per person when we settled the account. Plenty of hot water, accommodation areas very quiet.
