Our host was welcoming and organised a Xmas meal for guests and friends of which was a lovely idea. Our room exquisite in the glorious Edwardian home in superb garden surrounds. Certainly deserves a recommendation.

Historical home in tourist town.

A wonderful comfortable stay in a beautiful historic home with picturesque gardens, a short walk to shops and eateries. Service and quality was impeccable. Can’t wait for our next trip to Deloraine.

Fabulous B&B

We had a wonderful one night stay at Arcoona Manor. The house and garden were truly beautiful and only a short walk away from the lovely river walk and Deloraine shops and eateries. Maria was a such a warm and welcoming host and had thought of everything that a guest might need. We had a great night's sleep and Maria's delicious breakfast ensured a great start to our day. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. I am sure that we will return to this beautiful accomodation.

Magical and Sublime

Pros: We loved the welcoming aspect of this Hotel and that everything was so very very clean and so very beautiful.
Cons: This was a perfect stay for us in every way.
Location: Deloraine has a very beautiful river running through it which is a must see.
The experience of arriving at and staying at the Arcoona Manor is simply breathtaking and magical. We felt transported to an era past of grand nobility which was gracious, dignified and genteel but without any pretentiousness. We found our beautiful hostess and Lady of the Manor, Maria, extremely welcoming and accommodating - nothing was too much trouble and she went out of her way to ensure we had a very comfortable and happy stay. We take our hats off to her for all the hard work she has put into restoring the Manor to the exacting standards she places on the property . The gardens are absolutely captivating and enchanting with little areas planted out with great care to give colour, texture and delight at every turn. The great rooms (drawing, lounging x 2, and dining) are sublime and relaxing and the little touches in the rooms and through the home are very thoughtful and sophisticated - we will leave you to discover these enchanting refinements for yourself. Breakfast was amazing and Maria caters for every whim and taste. This is the only place to stay in this part of Tasmania so be sure to treat yourself. We will definitely be heading back to this beautiful home soon.

Fairytale Stay at this beautiful Manor

Pros: Great location, historical home which has been beautifully renovated and restored, luxury bed and amazing breakfast, relaxing and peaceful stay
Cons: Nothing
Location: Close to many other towns and Melita Honey Farm, Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm, Anvers Chocolatier and Cheese and Wine boutiques
We loved our stay here and wish we could have stayed an extra night! Maria is a kind and generous hostess and will make your visit that much more relaxing and comfortable. Nothing is too much trouble for her. The Manor is beautifully renovated and restored with some modern touches to the rooms. The gardens throughout the property are short of amazing - it was like walking through the botanical gardens - cute and interesting statues and touches in every corner of the massive display. A huge kudos to Maria for the upkeep and ensuring that the display is bright and interesting. The cooked breakfast is divine - better than any restaurant with real coffee from the coffee machine, orange juice, a variety of teas and snacks. Maria leaves snacks in the dining room for guests during the day and a comfortable sofa to sit on and enjoy a cuppa and conversation with other guests. This is honestly the only place to stay at in Deloraine - we loved every minute of it. Also, I left my expensive tube of cleanser at the Manor and when I sent Maria a text, she was only too happy to post it out to me at no cost. I was overwhelmed by her kindness. I cant speak more highly of this property or the owner - please stay here and see for yourself. Thank you Maria, you are a special soul.
