Booked a room with ferry transfers. Didn’t receive any information about ferry tickets before check in. I tried calling 2 different phone numbers for the resort over 10 times aswell as wotif who also couldn’t get through. Arrived at port Airlie whitsunday cruises they told us the resort hasn’t given them any information and to just book pay and then show the hotel the receipt and they will refund me the money. Ended up paying $170 for 2 return tickets got over to the resort all for the front desk to say no we only give you a return ticket you won’t get your money back. I mentioned multiple times how I tried contacting them and couldn’t get through no compensation whatsoever. Besides that loved the resort itself.

Lovely place. Not enough to do. Half the island was closed. Pool at the "closed" end of the island needs a good paint. Only has 1 restaurant option for lunch. Then going back to the same restaurant for dinner with only 1 other option. An option to order a light lunch or snack at the pool would have been nice.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The staff were lovely and very polite and friendly. However, there didn’t seem to be enough staff at the bars/resturants, which meant that service, on occasion, was delayed. It was a shame to see the far end of the island shut down, but it was obvious that a lot of development has taken place around the main complex. We particularly enjoyed the living reef.

The fantastic view of the ocean and swimming pools. The breakfast is good! The inconvenience of choices for meals and daily necessities at the island is obvious, the only canteen and the mini store are limited with options, plus the high prices are not worth what are provided. We do not even know that we have to pay for the expensive ferry tickets for each single trip to the nearby islands and port.

Just not alot of free things to do. Half the island seems to be closed. Was like walking through a ghost town going to the other side of the island for watersports that i guess arent available everyday. Walking track closed. I understand wet wheather affects these but then my options are either table tennis, pool, wait in long lines for drinks or use in room tv when it works
