This is a great place for a beach lover

Pros: The cabin by the beach and the food.
Cons: A refridgerator in the room. Depending on weather conditions an air con. may be required. Hot water capacity and flow. The road.
Location: Located right on the beach. It is 7km off the main highway and is approximately 25km from a town Swimming and reef exploration
Young family or someone interested in suba diving etc would love this place as it right on the beach. The cabins with a balcony over look the beach. The bedroom is large with a nice bed. The bathroom is ok with a unique open air shower. There is a ceiling fan but, no air con. or refrigerator. As the cabin relies on solar to heat water i have doubts as to it capacity. The restaraunt area is basic but the meal we had was excellent. The biggest negatitive is the 7km rough dirt road off the highway so if you have to leave the resort each day then it is a real pain. So if you don’t want to leave the resort to often then the place is great. The restaraunt serves beer and wine.

Amazing oceanview however too much seaweed.

The hotel owners were very rude and unprofessional. The couple treated the staff like crap and told them off infront of guests. Continental breakfast is 3 toasts only. Only at check in was informed that there was no water for shower. For showers we would have to go to 2 villas away. Wouldn't recommend to anyone as we wouldn't stay there again.

You visited at the time of the planned water shutdown . The resort owners are usually very friendly. They have welcomed and taken care of thosands of guests. I believe coutesy works both ways specially when one is travelling away or visiting new places. In order to ensure that guests are well taken care of and it does not happen than the 82 year old owner can be cranky. The breakfast was free however since we serve only organis fruits from our garden, the staff failed to pick it from the trees. It was a pleasure having you at the resort and hope that you will come again.

Beachfront Villas

2nd time at Namuka Bay and again very happy with everything, just a fantastic location to relax and enjoy, when the wind picks up in the afternoon, there is plenty to do along the railway track and further inland

very basic

No facilities in room, not even electricity. No fridge or kettle, not even ice available from "restaurant ". Very basic room. Shower was dirty and mouldy. This hotel should advertise that 4wd is necessary to reach it. Terrible terrible rock road with no signage other than on highway.

location off the beaten track

If you are looking for a non commercial quiet secluded location on the reef with family like service then this is the spot. If driving follow the sign on your right from queens highway (40 mins from nadi heading to sigatoka) and a non sealed road for about 20 minutes to the resort. Best if you have a 4WD as my 2wd car struggled at one point to get up the hill on the return trip. Otherwise ask reception to arrange a pick up/drop off.

Great location, great price

We stayed 7 days with our 2y old, had a rental car from Khan's in Nadi and after traveling throughout the south pacific and Hawai'i this was one of our favorites. Having the rental car was great, but not a must: you can easily and affordably get taxis to come and take you to see the various sites. Two thumbs up, keep it natural!

Thanks for your review and giving us the pleasure to serve you.Yourpositive comments on the resort are welcomed indeed namuka bay has the most natural island atmoshere that one can dream of. The food is organic where possible the drought in the country hasnt helped muchaswe struggle tokeep the meals as organic as possible. However the resort still has freshly caught fish, fresh slaughered chicken and fresh milk from the resorts farm. We look forward to being of service again Regards Vic

Pros: Amazing coral reef just outside your door step.
Cons: Remote location, old facilities, no fridge or kettle and ants in room
The only food availible was cooked in an old kitchen (unsure of the cleanliness or hygiene).

Thanks for your comments, surprised you didnt mention the restaurant kitchen which is modern and fully equipped . All food is cooked in this restaurant. We will be placing tea coffee facilities in the rooms however this will mean a slight increase in tariffs. In summer months ants atre a problem, resort willl be notified in regards to this so that action is taken

Pros: Paradise away from all the tourists, you feel you have your own private beach. Food is amazing and grown on the property
Cons: Do not order the All Inclusive package as they will try and charge extra for ordering seafood (it is cheaper to just order meals as you go)
Location: Away from it all, Inspiring, Outstanding
Service: Go the extra mile; If you are looking for seclution, great beach views and activities and away from the distraction of tv, phones and laptops this is the place for you
