- Disliked: Staff & service, property conditions & facilities
Room is horrible with smell and lots of noises in the night and heater has big sound too. Will come back to Ohio but will never stay in this hotel

Located in Cleveland's Gateway District neighborhood, Holiday Inn Express Cleveland Downtown is in the city center and near a metro station. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Great Lakes Science Center are cultural highlights, and some of the area's popular attractions include Greater Cleveland Aquarium and Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. Looking to enjoy an event or a game? See what's going on at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse or Progressive Field. Our guests appreciate the hotel's central location.
Very clean and well-maintained. Large room with hardwood floors and comfortable beds. We didn't use the free appetizer/drink hour or breakfast, but it was nice to have the opportunity. Our kids enjoyed the arcade area. No issues with valet parking, which allowed us in and out privileges and to leave our vehicle in the garage until 4pm on the day of check-out. The elevators are rather small, but we had no issues with operation. The lobby is beautiful and still has many of the original architectural elements of the early 1900s bank that was originally in the building. Location is great - within walking distance of MANY downtown Cleveland sights and restaurants. Hotel has ice machines and vending on most floors (Coke products) and there is a general store in the lobby that sells snacks, drinks, etc. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Cleveland!
