My room was lovely with a comfortable bed. It was clean, nicely furnished and very roomy. Fabulous tea choices, the shower was fantastic with incredible water pressure and I was quite pleased. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable. Other reviews mentioned people who are homeless ourside. It seems to me that every major city has that issue, Christchurch is no different and it's not the fault of the hotel. Should I find myself in Christchurch again I woukd definitely book a room here again.

No window? Seriously?
All good, but a bit of a shock to learn that we had booked a room with no windows. Turns out that if you read the fine, fine print, it is disclosed. They offered to upgrade us for $100NZD. No thank you. The room was clean and quiet - no complaints.

We stayed at 1st floor facing parking/office building, and we heard loud noises (3-5 minutes) for 1-2 times every midnight. Aside from this, the general condition is good. Great location at the city center.
