Staff friendly, entrance foyer clean and smelt lovely. Room just adequate. A/C worked well in the hot weather and water pressure for shower excellent. Bed was terrible and far too soft to the point I struggled to get out, pillows terrible, bedside lamp and bathroom basin light didn’t work and the ironing board was broken. Needs quite a bit of maintenance. Very convenient to her majesty’s theatre, food outlets and transport. Just needs a massive makeover of the rooms.

Generally, the apartment was very tidy (and kept that way throughout my 10 night stay semi regularly) and great to have a room with a small kitchen and modern laundry facilities in the room. Bed was very comfortable. Also a lap pool available. Reception was very friendly and helpful. ... BUT when you are selling yourself as an apartment and a hotel, you expect a few things - at least a couple of everything with kitchen cutlery, bowls, plates, etc... Hand towels, face washers, dishwashing detergent, etc... I shouldn't have to ask for this - this is a real basic minimum expectation. Sadly, there were quite a few broken things in the room that need to be looked at (something that wasn't worth mentioning during my stay) - old TV that randomly turned off with a remote that was broken, blinds that didn't roll up properly and were breaking at the sides and mould on the upper window. There must have been a flood at some point in the bathroom as the doorway has swelled up with a door that doesn't close properly and a washing machine that leaks (I actually cleaned the filter myslef and it stopped, ha ha). Lastly, a very minor thing but the circuitry for the lights was quite unbelievable as there were switches everywhere but you needed certain ones to be on, to turn others on... I was fortunate that I got this room at a discounted rate prior but even then it wasn't really worth the money that I paid - if I had paid the normal rate, I would have been asking for a serious discount.

Lovely spacious apartment incl washer & dryer and a nespresso machine was unexpected! Spa bath also unexpected but no plug to fit which I guess was intentional. Noise from back of theatre packing up equipment and beeping forklifts during night wasnt great, but i guess is the reason for discounted room rate.

Construction started at around 7 near the apartments and was very noisy. Our room was subpar. The furniture was in good condition but the bathroom smelled of mold, the fan in the bathroom had mildew growing on it, my shower took over 3 minutes to give hot water the second time I used it. Scuff marks all over the walls and carpet missing/threadbare in the bedroom. It felt unpleasant and unclean.

Pros: The property was conveniently located. Very comfortable bed. Check in and check out process was quick and easy. Mini Nespresso machine Cons: dirty bathroom. Mouldy tiles and shower chair. Spills on bathroom floor as though it hadn’t been properly mopped. Very very noisy laneway location but it was a Friday night. Room was light with blind allowing street lights into room. Whilst the bed was very comfortable, there were only two pillows in total.

The property is in a great location, however our room (404) has quiet alot of mould growing in the bathroom. The room also spelt of mould however we got use to it. Not enough bathroom amenities (shampoo conditioner and body wash) were provide.
