Great place to stay. Rooms are very big with great view. Pool and amenities were excellent. Food was good.

Basic rooms

Turning into the hotel grounds I was extremely impressed by the building & was looking forward to checking into my room. Access to my room was through the restaurant which is not great when your loaded up with bags.... we made sure we'd moved our bags out of our room before breakfast started so we didn't have to walk through the diners..., It appears the Clayton hotel chain is designed more for families which is great but it's not what we are looking for, children in the dinning room playing with the cutlery on other tables & running around is not what I would expect in a restaurant. Room was small basic & felt like we were in the dungeon,would I book here again, no I wouldn't, we are looking for something a little quieter, if I had young children I would consider staying at this hotel as the large grounds are ideal for children to have a run around. Staff are friendly.
