Service was slow - often nobody around, even at peak times.
Room 2 (my assigned room)
Room was shabby, door handle fell off the door to the tea making facilities.
Cold water ran hot for a good minute - terrible waste of water!
Shower shampoo bottle fell off the wall.
Neighbours in room 3 came “home” at some ungodly hour (like 3.30am) and ran water for washing plus shower and then one hour later another shower. The noise of the water running was verging on unbearable. Not your fault that a guest has such nocturnal habits but the noise of water running was not good.
Breakfast croissant was dry and at least one day old.
Overall stay was not what I would have expected from a Greene King Inn.Wrote all of the above to the manager 2 weeks ago and still no reply! Just about sums the place up.
