Accommodation In Budapest

Our wide range of Budapest accommodation lets you enjoy all that the capital has to offer from the Danube to Buda Castle. We have Budapest hotels to suit a variety of different holiday makers from business travellers to those looking for residential area accommodation.

One of the main attractions for travellers visiting Budapest is Margit Sziget or Margaret Island. Margaret Island is a 2.5 km long island located in the middle of the Danube in central Budapest, between Buda and Pest. The island is mostly covered by park areas, and is a popular recreational area for tourists as well as locals. We offer a handful of Margit Sziget accommodation that has proven to be very popular with visitors.

The islands major landmarks are the Centennial Memorial, a small Japanese Garden with a mildly thermal fish pond, a tiny zoo featuring a wide range of exotic waterfowl among other animals, a fountain with background music (for example Strauss) and light show in summer and an octagonal Water Tower built in Art Nouveau style in 1911.

For those tourists interested in Formula 1 we have a good selection of City Centre (Buda) hotels that offer excellent transport connections and access to the Hungaroring. The Hungaroring is a Formula 1 racing circuit near Budapest, where the Hungarian Grand Prix is held. Bernie Ecclestone originally wanted a race in the USSR, but a Hungarian friend of his recommended Budapest. They wanted a street circuit similar to the Circuit de Monaco to be built but the government decided to build a new circuit just outside the city. The track is well known to British racing fans as it is where Jenson Button won his first Grand Prix after 113 attempts.

Our fine selection of cheap Budapest hotels also means that you can afford to spend a bit more on the capitals great selection of shops and fine restaurants. City Centre (Pest) hotels are ideal for those wishing to explore Eastern Europe’s answer to the Champs-Elysees.

Our complete selection of Budapest Hotels are listed below, we hope that they will be of interest if you are looking to stay in the area.
