Lift not working (Again!)

Pros: Lap pool
Cons: Lifts
This hotel has four lifts - two lifts serving half the hotel each. This is the second time I've stayed here and one of the lifts was not working. This means there is one lift servicing half the hotel and the waits for a lift are very long. I waited 8 minutes once to get a lift to my floor. Another time I got a lift quite quickly but it stopped at almost every floor on the way down (because everyone was waiting for the lift) and took 10 minutes to get from floor 24 to the ground. Really unsatisfactory and unprofessional. The hotel needs to take a good look at it's policy and needs to do some preventive maitenance on its lifts and to ensure the lift company is holding parts in stock. It is an option to reprogram the lift and allow all lifts to cover all the hotel. This would at least allow 3 lift to service a larger number of customers and would provide better service than abandoning half the clientele to poor service.

Close to everything

Location was the absolute best! Great coffee places downstairs, restaurants nearby and a short walk to queen street. Our bed was the comfortiest bed we’ve ever had. We had a one bedroom apartment and the kitchen was a great size. The added separate laundry was devine. Thank you

Pros: Good location and within easy walking distance of Central Station Pools and Gym Helpful staff
Location: Good location and within easy walking distance of Central Station Short walk to Botanical Gardens and Queen Street Mall.
My family and I has a great stay in Jan 2018. The room was ready for an early check in and was clean and neat. The staff were helpful and accommodated storage of our luggage after we checked out, as we had an evening flight. Linen and bedding was very comfortable. The gym and pool facilities were very good. Highly recommended.

Convenient and economical

Nice location and very convenient at a good price. Reasonable condition rooms with limited views but lacks attention to detail. Missing glassware, broken toilet roll holder, broken washing machine hose, days where towels not replaced, broken bin in bathroom, mould in shower, no bathroom products. Lifts took ages when arriving and departing. Nice and friendly staff.

Good hotel, well located

Apartment was as a good size and had a great view from the 42nd floor. Very well located and only let down by the failure of house keeping and FOH staff in servicing the room.

value for money and clean.

Pros: Very clean seems new, all amenities needed and nice staff. The Air conditioning in the rooms were very well.
Cons: -Air conditioning in hallways and lifts! -Hand towels would be handy too. -A bigger TV especially in the bedroom & on the wall in front of the bed!
Location: In the city, a couple of blocks from Queen St. Mall, 1 1/2 blocks from Eagle street - lots of good restaurants there, & City Cat stop.
- The bathroom is not an en-suite - you have to walk out the bedroom and through the living room and around to get to it. - Full kitchen is handy , amenities in the kitchen are excellent and clean. -There is a washing machine, dryer, hair dryer and iron if needed. - Has a balcony as well. Note the following if it's important to you:- 1. The TV is only a 32" in the living room and tiny one (as small as a computer monitor) in the bedroom at a terrible angle to view it - on the right hand wall of the bed - so very uncomfortable to watch even if you can see that far it's so small 2. No in room safe. 3. the lifts are slow and often only one working due to the cleaners using the one of 2 available to your floor. 4. THE LIFTS and HALLWAYS ARE NOT AIR CONDITIONED AND HONESTLY FEELS LIKE A SAUNA!!! It was horrible-especially coming from a high floor it took ages, stopping on the way, it was shocking, i would actually hate to think what would happen if you got stuck!! This may sound trivial - but one elevator ride and you will see what i mean!!!!! 5. just in case you need to know - they supply toilet paper, tissues, 2 face washers and 2 bath towels (no hand towels), a shampoo, a conditioner and 2 bars of soap for the basin and the shower. So no shower caps, or moisturisers for the women who want to know. The staff are professional and courteous. The rooms are clean and fresh. The bed was comfortable.
