Nothing too much trouble to staff

Our short stay was made as comfortable as possible and staff were very accommodating.

Highly unpleasant stay would not recommend others

We chose till hotel cause it was reasonable priced and in convenient location in Brisbane cbd. However,this became the worst hotel experience I ever had! Parking on site was $30 per day therefore it was a hassle to find street parking few streets away. After checkin somehow I wanted to wash my white clothes which got stained accidentally . Put my clothes on wash & took nap didn’t realise washing machine was leaking & flooded whole apartment . Informed reception . They just organised few extra towels to soak the water didn’t do much to help clean thoroughly so we basically cleaned ourselves. Room soggy & smelly therefore we headed straight outside to city with our friends. Came back late midnight went to sleep in that soggy room bed was uncomfortable . Checked out early morning at 6. A day later I receive a call from hotel staff that I am being charged for damage hotel phone . I strictly told them not to as I didn’t even know where this phone was located in hotel apartment . And almost whole day I was out in Brisbane cbd cause of that soggy mess. Instead of being considerate and looking into this matter 2 mins after I hung up the phone they sent me the invoice in my email and charged my bank card! It took a week exactly after that contacting hotel staff regarding this and to reach the management . Had to send multiple emails and call them multiple times to fix this. Too much of hassle & unnecessary stress.

Thank you for your review. We regret to hear your stay was not a reputable one. Car parking within the Brisbane CBD is quite competitive and the fee is also outlined within the terms & conditions. Our housekeeping team as well as reception staff run a double - checking system whereby each room requires approval before being released for an arrival. Regarding the phone, the damages were only reported upon check out, hence the additional charge for the replacement of the phone. However, we were more than happy to find that the issue was resolved and the funds were refunded for you. We are looking forward to accommodating you again in the near future.

Inner city appartment

Was close to everything in the city , although we found it a little noisey and I think the unit could do with a good clean , stained carpets etc not a nice look , but overall satisfactory

Hotel experience

Clean and tidy rooms, bathrooms are in need of a refurbishment. Great location, very close tip CBD.. Staff very friendly.. i would stay on this hotel again.

didn't measure up

after paying a 'discounted rate' of $265 a night for our room, I was then charged a further $30 a day for parking. the hotel is poorly signed from the street, causing us to circle the block (one-way streets) 3 times before parking the car along the road and walking, asking people where the property was. We are assigned our room, and i was further deflated to realise we were on level 7, of 30 something floors, after specifically requesting a balcony to enjoy the views of the river and botanical gardens. Our views were of a hotel pool across the road and a construction site below us. Taking the kids to the pool, it was not heated as advertised, had black mouldy areas on the tiles surrounding the pool and was extremely slippery-kids slipped many times in the 20 minutes we were there, coming home with giant bruises on legs and hips. After realising how deceptive the online pictures of this property were, the location of this property ultimately saved us from leaving and booking elsewhere, being a 2 minute walk to the gardens, under 10 minutes to queen street mall and a 40 minute walk along the river to suncorp stadium. The staff were lovely and happy to help with directions also.

Guests are able to park in our driveway whilst they check-in. We will consider further signage to increase our visibility. It is disappointing to hear that we were unable to accommodate your request for a river and botanic garden view. Unfortunately, our one bedroom apartments do not guarantee a river or botanic garden view, rather these requests are subject to availability. All of our apartments however, do have private balconies. We are also disappointed to hear that you were not satisfied with our pool. The pool is in fact heated and we do receive regular positive feedback in relation to it's temperature. None-the-less, we will investigate this as a matter of urgency. We rarely received complaints about the pool's temperature. Whilst we are disappointed that we did not meet your expectations during your stay, we are pleased to hear that you enjoyed our location and found our staff helpful.
