Good location

Pros: Pretty good location.
Cons: Beds and bedding. Definitely fix reception.
Location: Opposite city hall and King George Square.
Check in was prompt and courteous. Room was tidy. Bed was uncomfortable as in hard and every little movement was felt. Pillows too flat. Impossible to watch television as reception kept failing so every few seconds and the channels would pixelate making it extremely hard to hear and follow any program. We checked out early as we were too tired to stay longer.

Perfect position

Pros: Close to city and shower
Location: Shopping and Southbank
We found the Mecure to be positioned in a very handy location. The staff were very friendly and easy to talk to you. As we are from Bundaberg we found the motel easy to locate especially as it is so close to the main street. Our room was clean and tidy and we found there was very little noise from neighbours and streets. We also felt safe while walking from the motel to the city. We would recommend our recent stay as awesome and will book again for our next Brisbane experience.

Hi there, Thank you for your review. I am glad to hear that everything about your experience was great, except for the location of your room; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. On your next stay, please do not hesitate to request a room away from the lifts. We would be more than happy to arrange this for you. Kind regards, Alex B

People make it perfect!

Pros: People, problem solving and professionalism.
Cons: We could’ve made our stay longer
Location: It’s in the centre of town, what else do you need? You’re right the middle of everything!
We had a few hassles caused by my stupidity when we arrived but it was no problem for the team to sort them out and not even give me a hard time. All the team were friendly and happy which transferred to us after a hard day. I particularly want to mention Mattias who took pity on a little old couple like us and arranged our transfer to Central Station personally. I’d certainly recommend this hotel and wouldn’t choose anywhere else if I was in Brisbane. Sure, you may get half a star more at great expense but it wouldn’t make me change.
