Not what I expected

Pros: The breakfast
Cons: New beds and provide privacy between the rooms with thicker walls, clean the room properly and get the mould out it can make people sick.
Location: Brisbane CBD, shopping, parks, sightseeing.
The room was small and dark, a small window looking out onto scaffold as the outside of the building is having maintenance done. The bed was not very comfortable and the TV didn't work. The staff at the hotel would have been aware that the room had problems but didn't address them. The room with breakfast which was booked months ago was clean but ordinary. Early in the morning the walls were so thin the noise from the room next door woke me up. I was given a 25% discount due to the TV not working but I would have preferred a decent night's sleep. Mould had built up on the grout in the bathroom which looked dirty also. They charged almost $240 for this space what a joke, No I will not be going back or recommending to anyone either.

Charged us for early check in and then sneakily charged us for a "room upgrade". The "room upgrade" was on the 4th floor with a balcony overlooking a courtyard directly below (about 1 metre below). Anyone could access out balcony and room via the balcony. Not safe at all. I would hate to see what our non upgraded room would have looked like! The room service was terrible. The pizza was all doughy and worse than a frozen pizza. The chips were all burnt. Won't be staying here again!

Close to public transport and CBD.

Pros: Comfortable, handy to Roma Street and city.
Cons: All good
Location: Being very close to the Queen Street Mall I was able to enjoy all the activities the city can provide.
From the moment I entered to the moment I left I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made my stay a wonderful experience.

Convienent.

Pros: Location
Cons: Room amenities.
Great Location but overpriced for what you get. It's amazing how prices rise by over a $100 a night just because there are events in town, you would think that customer loyalty would count for something!

VERY COMFORTABLE AND CLOSE TO EVERYTHING

Pros: Location
Location: Close to most things in the City that people would want partiqular for business
ONLY CRITISISM IS THAT NO COMMON BEERS ARE AVAILABLE IN BARS. PLENTY OF BOUTIQUE TYPE DRINKS BUT COULD NOT BUY VB PERHAPS THE MOST POPULAR BEER IN AUSTRALIA. THOUGHTS WERE THT BOUTIQUE BEERS ARE NOT AVAILABLE EVERYWHERE THERFORE NO RESSTRICTIONS ON CHARGING. OK FOR THE HOTEL BUT NOT FOR A CUSTOMER.

Quiet hotel close to everything

Pros: Loved the helpful reception staff and the room, bed and quiet.
Cons: Servicing staff need to check mini bar contents thoroughly and leave guests till checkout in the morning. That's all!
Location: Very central, close to everything you could need while in Brisbane.
My room was quiet and comfortable, but I have two small gripes. The small Chardonnay bottle in the fridge had been opened and refilled with water by the previous guest! I called the concierge to replace it and this took about 30 minutes and she delivered a warm bottle of chardonnay. Not ideal. Room attendants knocked on my door at 8 am as I was dripping after a shower - a little too intrusive for me! Otherwise, reception staff exceptional, room layout beautiful, bed lovely!

Good for the Price

Pros: Great for the price.
Cons: Improvement on the bathroom tiles and bath which were looking a little old
Location: Excellent location. Museums, Queen Street Mall and a short walk over the bridge to South Bank.
Only stayed the night but we paid is what we expected. The bathroom (tiles around the bath and old bath could do with a refurbish and to see some scaffolding out of the window wasn't pleasant but as I said we were only there for the night and busy sight seeing so it was ideal for what we wanted for 2 adults and two children. Had a great nights sleep so that's what matters for me!
