The dining area has tiled flooring and a table for 6, flowing through to a kitchen with stylish subway tiles, laminate bench tops, a double sink, dishwasher , 4-burner electric cooktop, under-bench oven, microwave, a good-sized fridge/freezer and a Nespresso coffee machine. The apartment is basic and in need of some updates but well located.
There are 2 bedrooms, both carpeted and offering ceiling fans, queen sized beds, mirrored built-in wardrobes and vertical blinds to control the light flow. The master bedroom also has an ensuite bathroom with a combined shower/bathtub, while the unit’s main bathroom comes with a frameless glass screened shower and laundry facilities, including a washing machine and separate dryer.
The Neighborhood:
Situated less than 10 kilometres north of Brisbane’s CBD (Downtown), Chermside has become known as a mini CBD in itself with everything you need close-at-hand. The unit itself is well located, less than 10 minutes’ walk to the Chermside Westfield shopping centre, offering a Coles supermarket, cinemas, and a huge choice of shops, eateries and services.
It’s a 7 minute walk to The Hospital precinct with the start of the hospital only at the end of the street. The Chermside Aquatic Centre & Water Park, is 12 minutes away on foot, as is Burnie Brae Park which has an outdoor gym. It’s 15 minutes by car to Brisbane airport and 15-20 minutes drive into the illustrious Brisbane City Centre with is cultural and entertainment precincts brimming with life.
Getting Around:
Free street parking is available, but if you prefer public transport, there are several bus services that can deliver you to Brisbane’s CBD is as little as 31 minutes.
Other Things to Note:
* An additional $40 will be charged to your total if a check-in happens after 8 pm, and we require your arrival time as the Concierge does not live on site.
* A mandatory full clean of the property and complete linen change will be done every 4 weeks and added to your total booking amount for any booking longer than a month. This will be added to your total amount and processed separately.
* Have you got a baby or an infant traveling with you? We're happy to arrange the hire and delivery of baby items, subject to availability, with excellent package rates for two or more items. Please note that we require a minimum of two days notice, with full payment completed before the items are delivered.
* Extra $40/night will be charged for guests after 2 or if the sofa bed needs to be prepared.
* Please note that this property has been specifically catered for short-term rentals and is not a hotel.
* Due to strict no noise no party policies in Strata buildings or local council by laws we will be enforcing the NO PARTY NO NOISE POLICY - This will mean that we will be able to force an eviction if these terms are breached. If this is he case we hold the right to hold on security deposit and booking amount for compensation for the purpose of any damage, missing keys and potential penalties from the body corporate or local government authority.
