It was a beautiful heritage hotel that has been enhanced beautifully in the Art Deco style. The dining and bar facilities all set among lovely lawned areas and gardens are sublime.

You really felt like you were staying in oppulent style. The only let down was the quality of the food, and the wait staff. The gym and spa closed a little early - I would like it to be 24 hour - Other than that, the room was fabulous, the bath enormous, and the hotel was a 5 star facility, right across from the National Library of Australia. We will be going back for sure.

It was Summernats weekend and the people in the room next to me were loud and very drunk. I had very little sleep which spoiled the visit as apart from that the hotel was excellent.
