Lovely chateau 5km from town

Pros: Quiet peaceful well kept boutique hotel with superb staff.
Cons: Bedding arrangements.
Location: Saint Emillion a 45 minute drive away is absolutely beautiful. Bordeaux has a lot to offer near the mirror lake.
Wonderful staff and views. Fabulous location and building. We had the garden room for a week however our King size bed was in fact two singles that moved apart. Note: Walking to town not recommended by staff but we did anyway almost trod on a snake beside the road. Taxi charges for a trip from town before they pick you up and was unable to charge my card as no coverage, Hotel staff saved the day with a loan Many thanks. Rental car a must.
