Perfectly clean and ok. Missing true 4* touches
On arriving, staff are super pleasant and the hotel lobby is standard but well kept. This is a functional hotel. If you are coming with a platonic friend and sharing a room, please note that the shower area is open plan with the bed area - no door to close. The room is a decent size with plenty room to move around. If you have long finger nails, you will struggle to get in to the wardrobe. The door "handles" are flat with a rim and impossible to open with long nails. What I found super strange was that there is no iron in the room; you have to go down to reception and collect it. Simple things such as shower cap, hand/body lotion, slippers etc are void. There is no room service and the hotel restaurant closes at 9.30pm. You can buy sandwiches and drinks from the lobby if you'd like. The little touches that really make it a true 4 star hotel.
