The front desk is unmanned, you check in online, and there is no one in the hotel from afternoon till breakfast. This means you can't leave your luggage after you check out, or if you arrive anytime before 3 pm. If you ask about luggage, they tell you go to Alexanderplatz, which they say is 5 minutes away. Not with luggage it's not! Plus, the lift is up a flight of stairs, this would be a big problem for a disabled person, or one with big luggage. A In their marketing, it is not disclosed there is no one available for most of the day, nor the fact that the elevator is up a flight of stairs. .

More What You Would Expect of A Budget Hotel
Not knowing how to get in, self service check in with no support when needed by the phone provided, breakfast so basic there is not even a toaster with the only option to upgrade at extra cost, room cleaning 15 euros a day and cardboard coat hangers in wardrobe, this feels more like a value brand product. The room itself was nice enough though for a city hotel and location suitable.

This hotel is very well situated very close to Hackeschermarkt S Bahn, Museums Insel, Berliner Dome and Unter den Linden. It is in a busy area but the hotel is in a quieter street and we had no problems with the nearby trams or any other noise. There are no reception staff in the hotel but we found self check in and check out easy enough using the tablet at the desk. Our rooms were comfortable, clean and in good order. Our (very competitive) room rate included a good buffet breakfast, available in a nice dining room or a small atrium courtyard. There was a small but comfortable lounge area where beer, wine and snacks were available, paid via an honesty box. Our two night stay at this hotel was very pleasant and we would certainly stay here again when in Berlin.

This is all self service from check in to check out. I didn't see one member of staff fir my 2 night trip. If you want your room clean its an additional €15 a day. No air conditioning in the room i was staying. For over £100 a night i wasnt to pleased

Fantastic stay in a fantastic location
Room was very clean and comfortable, breakfast had a limited selection (at least for myself as a vegetarian) but was happy enough to make do with it for our 3 night stay - the staff kept the stock up nicely. The location was excellent, just round the corner from both the tram and S-bahn network and 10 min walk from the Museums Island or the Fernsehturm. The hotel is right on a street which essentially acts as a tram depot so can be relatively noisy during working hours with the window open.
