I can’t say how much I enjoyed this resort. The service A , the amenities, the views, the staff all exceeded my expectations. The only part of this resort that didn’t all the way blow my mind was the food. It was good/average. I’m a food fanatic so you can trust me. The breakfast in the morning is amazing , but the dinners itself fell a little short and left me wanting for a better experience. This is not due to the staff because service is great but the chef can do better. Overall still rating this resort 5 star!

Great experience. Very friendly and helpful staff. Amazing location, design, landscaping, service and food. Highly recommend. We also booked an afternoon trip with their yacht which was excellent. The chef and sommelier at the B&G restaurant were really friendly and made a tasting dinner that night very special.

My number one reason for booking this hotel was that I wanted access to the private beach, which was absolutely perfect and I enjoyed every minute of my time on it. It’s a gorgeous beach, with very comfortable chairs and lots of shade. The hotel itself is lovely, the grounds expansive. Make sure you’re in good shape, there’s a lot of stairs and a lot of walking uphill, which, of course leads to beautiful views! The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. A big thanks to Ramon for his recommendation at eating at Joao restaurant in Guia. Amazing PiriPiri and the yummiest tomatoes ever. The hotel includes water for the room and coffee, but that’s pretty much it. For the cost, I’ve stayed in places which were equally nice, but included more amenities and little treats for guests, either in the room, or on the resort, and usually would include breakfast. The restaurants are unbelievably overpriced, and if you have a car, there are many delicious options within driving distance that are more local, authentic Portuguese experience. Overall, we had an excellent stay, and I would definitely recommend this hotel and visit again.
