Hi Pat, we have a wide range of room types available the room you chose is a garden view studio designed for our corporate guests who typically stay one night and prefer new modern furnishings and up to date technology rather than a lot of space. These rooms are newly built end of 2019. As your visit was for 3 nights it was probably not suitable for your needs. We wish you had mentioned this while you were here as we would have happily upgraded you to a larger room. Please don't hesitate to ask if you have anything you are not satisfied with. Our staff are all very approachable and try hard to provide the best service.

the property is in walking distance to the town center and the fabulous walking track by the river. we really loved it. only issue we had was you can hear noise from other apartments.

Good:
- Close location with easy access to town centre.
-Well maintained garden area creating a nice environment.
Bad:
- Uncomfortable bed lacking support due to old age.
- Timber used in room construction creaks continually throughout night as temperature changes, this was very loud causing difficulty sleeping and was only communicated once we had checked in to the room via a wall poster.
- Spa/pool facilities have posted limited hours of use which is not made clear when booking. These facilities have cut off hours after 7/8 pm which is when we found ourselves wanting to use/relax after a busy day exploring the local region. We raised this to the owner at the time and were allowed an exception on this occasion but something to be aware of.
- Allocated carpark was occupied by another guest and when informed the owner they were not prepared to fix this and requested we park elsewhere for the night.
- Complementary supplies is not provided on a daily basis, such as milk.

Very surprised to see so many complaints! We have a wide range of room types with our Lockwood studios being the cheapest option, yes the wood creaks this is a natural factor with wood buildings which is why we put a sign in the room so guests can understand. We also have brand new apartments available which may suit better however they do need to be booked in advance as they are very popular. The spa pool was explained to you that you are welcome to use it if you are quiet in the evenings and not disturbing others. The car park was occupied on new years eve when you asked me to fix that at 11.30pm I did decline to be fair you were parked 2 steps further from your room than you should have been and for this we do apologise, fortunately we did have the vehicle moved so all was not lost! Have a blessed New Year, stay safe.
