lovely hotel friendly staff and very clean

Pros: cleanliness and friendly staff
Cons: steep stairs from pool to 1st floor.... I am an old fart though
Location: location sensational close to massage, beach, retaurants, shopping
made to feel special which is a must on an overseas holiday

Perfect location

Only place in bali I would go back and stay. Forfeited second accommodation booking to return for the balance of our stay as we liked it so much.

This is the second time we have stayed at Camakila, stayed same time last year and was very impressed with the hotel and facilities hence stayed again this year. However the hotel facilities have deteriated in 12 mths, the grounds are still well maintained but the rooms need a lot of maintenance, the towels were grey not white, our air conditioning had a smell like sewerage coming out of it that was so bad we had to turn it off at night whilst sleeping, the sheets had stains on them and to top it off we had a rat in our room getting in from a major gap in the sliding door. On the positive side the staff were very good and most apologetic about the rat offering to move us, they came the next day and did the best they could to stop the rat getting in. The position of the Hotel in Legian is great close to places to eat, the beach and shopping, unless there are major works done to this hotel I will not be staying there again.

Fantastic hotel close to everything

We have stayed at Camakila several times and it never disappoints. The staff and service are second to none. All the staff are wonderful but a special mention to Friday and Suci who always go above and beyond. It is central to everything beach, restaurants and shopping. Two pools, gym, two restaurants and spa what more could you want. We always have a fantastic time and will certainly be back . We would highly recommend this hotel.

Perfect location for relaxing.

This hotel has a great feel. The palms and trees around the rooms and pool make for a perfect Bali holiday. Food places and shopping at the front and food places and beach to the back. Something for everyone. Will definitely go back again.

Great location, fantastic staff

We have stayed at Camakila several times the location is perfect right on the beach, close to restaurants and shops. The staff especially Friday, Succi & Yuni are exceptional with nothing being too much trouble. The resort itself even though they have been renovating is looking run down both pools and the decking require attention. We also noticed this time the general housekeeping of the grounds and rooms require more attention.
