This was a lovely, quiet hotel, in the center of things but set back from the noise. Wayan and his family made our stay particularly lovely- there were so nice and made sure we were taken care of. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Off the primary beaten over crowded track, just...

Pros: Lovely garden, nice pool and close to some very nice places to eat
Cons: As mentioned the cleanliness and/or hygiene but I did not mention these issues to the owner but I shouldn't really have to
Location: Close to Umah Pizza that serve a lot more than pizza. Close to the main street too with various "attractions" and yoga studios
Remembering Indonesian and Bali is a thrid world, developing country, but still they do have amazing 5 plus star hotels... but this ain't one of them. So the overall stay was nice, but there were a few details that should have been better. First, one of the pillows smelled as if it had been dropped in the toilet then layed on the bed... it really stank! The mosquito netting/drape around the bed at the lower end of it stank too. The drains were partially blocked, every time you wash your hands or shower the basin filled and stayed full for a while. With exception to the mentioned above it was a nice stay BUT: don't bother with the "superior" room as it IS NOT superior and I checked the other rooms. They just charge more for a master mosquito net around the bed!
