The hotel was really lovely. Gardens were beautiful and the pool area was very nice. The restaurant overlooking the ocean had a beautiful view and the other restaurants were nice although pricey. We would not pay $50 AUD for a buffet breakfast. Way too expensive. The rooms were spacious and clean and had everything we needed. Easy walking distance to the Bali Collection for shopping and eateries. Also small street markets close by for souvenir shopping. We had a lovely driver Made who was located at the resort and we saw most of the temples, gardens and shopping that we wanted to see. He also took us to a lovely restaurant for lunch and the airport when we were leaving. All this at a very reasonable price. We would definitely recommend this resort to others Bali travellers who were not necessarily keen on the bustling Kuta atmosphere and wanted a more laidback holiday.

In the resort district, not much else around there

Pros: the pool activities and exercises in the morning were great, everyone gets involved. It's right on the beach which is nice, at high tide.
Cons: Spilt the breakfast up into 2 locations people!!! Try to understand, people are already spending lots of money, don't take the piss
Location: not really any activities, just bali collection nearby. If you get the bus from there though, go to Benoa and eat and drink down there.
It was okay.... just okay. For the price, in Bali especially, i expected to be wowed. However i've stayed at much cheaper places under $100 and they've been nicer. You have to get to the pool pretty much straight after breakfast if you want a chair lounge. Seems like they only have enough for less than half the guests, we thought there were 2 pools, but the other is only in use for 'the level' guests, which seems stupid. Breakfast was intense!!! literally hundreds of people from all countries (mostly european and asian) all without coffee yet trying to navigate a relatively small buffet. we saw as we left around 9am that there was a line to get in, as the tables were all full. It's in an area where there's really nothing going on but hotels. The closest mini marts and ATMs were all at Bali collection, which is bali's worst shopping mall. It's also SUPER EXPENSIVE to buy anything at the hotel, roughly 3 times the price for cocktails and food than you'd spend at restaurants on the street, so we kinda felt taken for a ride, and only ate there once. It just seemed really impersonal and bustling, i definitely wouldn't stay there again, and would prefer Benoa and a smaller hotel.

Lagoon Pool Access

Pros: lagoon pool access, beach location
Cons: book in time
Location: beach location & close to Bali Collection
arrived late afternoon with book in taking extra long time due to very busy front desk. Room was ready but no room access for myself due to card issue machine so staff member had to let me in. Went out for dinner later & returned to find room key ready from reception but did not open door so returned to front desk where they programmed it again & returned with staff member to make sure door opened successfully. Realised next morning that fridge was not working but as was only staying 2 nights I did not bother to notify front desk. No hot water to shower that morning either. On the plus side lagoon pool access was great, breakfast was good & room was good. Problem is that a 5 star hotel charging big money should not have issues that happened to me so sadly would not return.
