Staying at the grand istama Rama was much better than a hotel with the other facilities available. After a while of gong out and being harassed by stall holders it’s nice to just chill at the resort. Have dinner and a swim and read a book without being locked to a room. My next Bali holiday will def be in a resort setting. Thanks to the amazing and friendly staff who were more than happy to accomodate and make us feel at home.

Great place to stay, just found pricing for food and drinks to be quite high. Cocktail menu is average, the range is much and they are all very citrus based. In saying that the espresso martini from 69 Bar is one of the best I’ve ever had ! Breakfast buffet was ok but not fantastic. Staff are lovely and helpful And rooms are as described. Pool is quite warm which was a little bit of a bummer as the temperature difference between outside the water and in were next to nothing and in the Bali heat you want the relief of jumping in a cool pool. Location was great for the waterfront shopping centre and poppies lane 2 only a 2 minute walk down the road. Overall a good experience.
