Great staff and location, but falls short.

Pros: Staff and location.
Cons: Maintenance, F&B
The location, view and staff are very good, but the hotel requires maintenance and the F&B a revamp.

A little let down

Pros: The view over the water.
Cons: The hotel was very run down.
Location: Very quiet location, we visited one eighty (cliff edge pool) during our stay.
We were very excited to visit this hotel, the photos looked amazing and it was a splurge for us to spend so much on a hotel (as we only stayed for two nights we thought it would be worth it) Unfortunately the hotel was very run down, although it was having renovations while we were there we were disappointed with what we paid during this time. Being low season it was quiet, there was only 32 guests in the whole hotel which gave our stay uneasy feel. Was still relaxing however would not visit again.

Dear Cal, Thanks for your comments on your recent visit. As you noted we are in the midst of refurbishment of many areas of the property and these have been timed to be carried out when we have a lower occupancy so they impact of our guests enjoyment of the resort. I'm sure you are aware that Bali at the moment is having a very slow period due to false media reports and travel warnings due to the Mt Agung situation. This has impacted on all of Bali and we certainly have less visitors on the Island at the moment. Thank you for traveling to Bali and enjoying your holiday. We hope you return to visit us again. Kind Regards Allan & Team.

Over priced hotel

The hotel had excellent facilities and lovely staff - loved the spa on the balcony and comfortable beds. Although we were checked into a room facing a group of workmen - we were totally uncomfortable at the thought of waking up to them outside our windows each morning so we requested to move. We then got moved to another room, where the toilet constantly smelt like urine, and the floor in the toilet hadn't been cleaned from the day we checked in. There is a lack of western food available on the menus in all resturants, everything is over priced from a bottle of water to meals and transport. The housekeepers go into your room way to often a day - 3 times minimum I'd say. Also we tried to get charged $130 for a 5 hour phone conversation that we definately did not use, so we are under the impression it must have been the cleaners. Also the elevator had a foul smell most of the time. So I would suggest spending $6000 on a 6 night holiday elsewhere and get more value for your money.

Beautiful place

Pros: Staff were very friendly, nice food, beautiful views.
Cons: access to the beach
Location: close to Padang Padang area with many cafes and shops
Had a great time at this hotel. Most amazing cliftop ocean view, friendly people and great food. Perfect place for pro-surfing, not so safe for a beginner. Hotel offered a shuttle to the nearest beach (Padang Padang). Also enjoyed yoga classes offered at this hotel. Would definitely recommend it as a great place to unwind and and relax.

Hotel is in a great secluded location on the water, great views. Rooms and service were great and Tepanyaki was very good. Lots of stairs, would not recommend for anyone who isn't good with stairs.
