Pros: Very clean. Very obliging staff.
Cons: Limited coffee and tea facilities - really dislike that.
I usually stay at another hotel, so this was a new hotel for me. It was okay, but I would only use it again if I didn't have a choice. Loved the bathroom and toiletries.

We had trouble getting there because of the construction going on but called and received Helpful directions around construction zone, easy to follow, Free room upgrade when they found out it was our wedding anniversary, room very nice, comfy bed, relaxed time away from home just what we needed. Was within walking distance to everything, We would definitely recommend and stay again, thanks for the great service

Excellent.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. We felt like we'd had a lovely relaxing night away at an oasis in the city. Will definitely be back again soon.

Nice hotel great central location

The reason we choose to stay at Stanford is its great location and quality of service. Which was again at high standard. But unfortunately our room was situated above the roadworks and were awoken early (7am)to construction in the road below. Which continued through till 9pm that night.

Friendly & Central

Pros: Friendly staff, nice room, close to town.
Cons: Food from the lobby bar not so great - especially for the price. Some areas of the hotel are looking a bit tired.
Location: We were there to attend a show at the Civic theatre
It was our first time staying at the Stamford Hotel and I would have to say it was EXCELLENT! Fabulous friendly staff who were very accommodating - nothing was an issue. It was close to town and easy to get to all the places we needed to go. We will definitely stay at the Stamford again.

Pros: everything
Cons: Giving frequent flyer points even when the rom is booked through a third party such as Wotif, currently they refuse to do this.
Location: All satisfactory
The hotel satisfies a 5 star concept in terms of luxury, services and satff

no decent room service at night.took an hour to get to order pizza. which never turned up..even informed duty manager we were having issue with man answering ph..
