The Best of plenty ‘a weekend away’

Early and expedited Check In. A mid morning call to confirm the booking....on the day of the Booking. The elegance of professional and profound service most often will be detected and reflected upon within just a few seconds of making the initial contact with a person and or their business. I had this feeling that the lovely lady that I first spoke to The Heritage Towers Auckland was both genuine and a tuned to providing that sense of classiness that often gets neglected or forgotten about when in all honesty everyone knows that it’s the first impression that counts. So began a glorious journey “my wife’s 30th Birthday party and subsequent rest for the following two days that honestly to us felt like the perfect and meticulous grand finale to a well ‘for want of a better word’ meticulously well planned and executed celebration quite unlike I have ever attended before. We were so utterly impressed and conveniently relaxed with the Luxurious Pleasure that was bestowed upon us during our stay. Thank you sooo much to all of the Team at the Heritage - you all participated in an epic journey that eclipsed all of our other stays in the Auckland CBD over the last 9 years. To my first Impression - Angela your advice and enthusiasm catapulted me and subsequently my darling wife Josephine into one of the best occasions we have ever had inside our Beautiful City. And with the expert touch of professionalism from Naoko upon our exit I say with the utmost sincerity Arigatou Gozaimasu.

Hotel located on busy one-way road.

Pros: Close to Downtown and Harbourside
Cons: This hotel needs somewhere that guests can obtain a light meal (bistro style?) in addition to the formal restaurant..
The room was not vacuumed and used drinking glasses were left dirty (not washed or replaced). The room was a little claustraphobic as the only window, from the kitchen/lounge area, overlooked an enclosed atrium. We had difficulty getting the aircon to work satisfactorily; it was either too hot or too cold!

Near Sky Tower

Fairly central location. Close to Avis for car rental. Short walk to restaurants.

Nice place we really enjoyed it. Only down side was the ants in our room... I understand they’re hard to get rid of but waking up with them all over your pillow wasn’t the best thing. But I would stay again !

Very helpful staff and great breakfast

Pros: very good bed and exceptional breakfast
Cons: stronger air conditioning or opening windows
Location: It is just a short walk to restaurants and the harbour
Very nicely repurposed heritage building with comfortable bedrooms. However the aircon could be a bit more robust to cope with hot weather. The breakfast was exceptional, with beautifully prepared natural ingredients which we really enjoyed as part of the continental breakfast.

Disappointed

$45 for parking was outrageous. Rom was hot despite setting air conditioning room poor quality for what we paid. Food and beverage credit should be able to be used for parking

Recommend you book with the hotel

I would recommend you book a hotel room instead of online with the stylish apartment

The rooftop pool is the best!

The hotel is a little worn out now and needs a major update to bring it up to expectations for a large in city well located hotel. Our room had a fantastic balcony and the original building means the rooms have great ceiling height and the big glass doors leading to the balcony are gorgeous. The superior room was a good size. It was clean but as I said tired eg: carpet and fittings outdated. The best thing about as the rooftop pool the looks over the harbour with lounge chairs plus you can look up and see the Sky Tower overhead. The staff are very friendly and helpful and professional. They are apparently going to update the hotel.

relaxing central city

Pros: The roof top pool area.
Cons: Better quality towels and more of them. Only two provided.
Location: Close to waterfront, cbd and train station.
While hotel itself is overall a little tired and dated, the room was clean, very comfortable, great bath products, amazing comfortable bed..the best hotel sleep ever. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Easy walking distance to city and waterfront and britomart. Best thing is the roof top pool area...lounge chairs, bar, gym and views of the harbour...a great late afternoon relaxing time.
