The property was generally excellent it was just the lady at reception. We got there at 12 noon and she was unhelpful and would not see if our room was ready( until 2pm). Later checkin girl Isabel was so friendly and from then on all was excellent. Restaurant staff so friendly so would recommend. It just takes one person to sour an experience but it was later resolved.

Dont get stuck in old rooms above the bar. Moldy bathrooms, stuffy and dark rooms and if there is a wedding on then don't think you'll get a good nights sleep

Great location for a visit to the city.

Pros: One of the most comfortable beds we have ever used.
Cons: I reported a light bulb failure in the bathroom of Room 3 which was replaced promptly but should have been noticed by hotel staff.
Location: Explore the old city, city square and the cathedral.
We enjoyed two nights in Room 3 and returned for two nights in Room 29. Room 3 is quaint and interesting for any visitor from down under. Room 29 has a fantastic view of the river. We had excellent service for an enjoyable dinner party for 8 and equally attentive service when dining on our own. Pre-dinner drinks beside the river was a superb setting.
