Sunset Apartment - Peaceful country setting near Hocking Hills State Parks

Come take a vacation at this peaceful country setting within reasonable distance to the Hocking Hills State Parks. The Sunset Apartment is located out in our barn on the far right. It has 2 bedrooms on the second floor, one with a queen bed and one with a full bed, you can set up 1 standing cot for 1 extra person. It has 1 bathroom on the main floor with a tile shower, a fully furnished kitchen, a table with 4 stools, a bar with 2 stools, living area with 1 small sectional, a TV screen (no TV channels) a Samsung DVD player with built in apps, unlimited WiFi, (service is very spotty, will not guarantee service, or good WiFi, 4G LTE at times, slows down to 600 kpbs). Bring your own dvds and internet subscriptions. We do encourage a technology free vacation. There is a washer and a dryer on the main floor. Towels and linens are provided. Country Lane Lodging also offers another vacation apartment at this location that sleeps 5 with 2 bedrooms. Sunrise Apartment is located above our 3 car garage. (google vrbo.com and in the destination put in the #181311) We have an above ground pool that is open during the summer months for guests use. Enjoy the trails in our woods, roast hotdogs in one of our 2 fire rings, and enjoy our mini farm, with miniature horses, a few milking cows and Snowball the barn cat. Complimentary coffee and snacks.

We are located 45 minutes southeast of Columbus, 15 minutes from Circleville the home of the Pumpkin Show, 25 minutes from Tecumseh (outdoor drama) and 15-20 minutes to Rock House one of the Hocking Hills State Parks. There is a IGA with fuel, a Dollar General, and a few small diners in the little town of Tarlton just a few minutes from here. And plenty more to do to keep you busy for a number of days. Clean, cozy property in a great location. Will stay again.
Wonderful, clean rural property with a full kitchen, which is what our family needed for a speech and debate competition at Ohio Christian University. Eat-off-the-floor clean. I love and appreciate that! One of my boys decided to sleep on the rug on the floor of the bedroom instead of sharing a bed with his brother. I had no hesitation letting him do that! Better sleep for everyone. I only wish we had more time to explore the surrounding area! We will definitely be staying again in the future.

Sunset Apartment
Very clean and neat. Quiet place to stay while we hiked in Hocking Hills State Park. Our Verizon cell phones were very weak during our visit. We would encourage others to use this spot

Peaceful Getaway
The Sunset apartment was perfect for four adults. We were greeted by Snowball the cat right when we arrived and were able to enjoying the other farm animals during our visit. The apartment was clean and nicely decorated and had everything we needed and more! The property was gorgeous and well maintained and within 30 minutes of Hocking Hills. We are looking forward to staying here again the next time we are in the area. Thank you Phil and Norma!

Nice location for hiking
My daughter and I stayed here for a long weekend to hike in hocking hills. The location was great - within 25 minutes to many trails. The property was very nice and well-maintained. The apartment was spotless and well equipped with basic needs plus some. I would recommend staying here. No complaints and happy with our stay.
