Housekeeping staff on the 1st day didn't do a good job doing the room. We were told that the staff will wash and replace cooking utensils and pots but when we got back to the room, we found the pots and plates still in the sink and rubbish bin not cleared. However, it was made to look as if it has been cleaned. Beds were flippantly tidied up. After notifying the Housekeeping manager (who promptly apologised), a staff came back to the room to do the cleanup. They generally look grumpy and unhappy, but it is a service industry afterall, so this does make an impression. Housekeeping on the next day did a thorough job cleaning the room (as you would expect from a hotel stay) (making the 1st day effort look really bad). Otherwise, the stay at the hotel was generally average. We asked for a room with a kitchenette, and the front desk staff was kind enough to upgrade us.
Ok for a short stay and if all you want to do is venture in the city. Tram stop right outside the hotel makes travel really easy. Plenty of eating places, I will recommend the Italian coffee shop and really affordable Italian staple next to Coop, directly opposite the hotel.
