Spotlessly clean and everything we needed

Pros: Spacious, clean and everything we needed was supplied
Cons: Nothing I can think of
Location: Very handy situation....just up the road from fuel station, eateries and shops. Nice grassed spot over the road for a walk.
We loved our stay at 19A, Riverview Cottage. It was perfect for our "girls night away" ...there were three of us and we each had our own room. We had everything we needed. Booking and communication with owner is easy, with a key code for arrival at any time. No keys to keep track of. The main bedroom has an ensuite and the other two bedrooms share a bathroom. We liked the shower and bath being in one room, leave the vanity/mirror separate, as well as the separate toilet. Water pressure was good. Full laundry facilities if needed, as well as clothesline. BBQ and outdoor setting also. Well equipped kitchen....in fact the whole place is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. A very comfy lounge in the main lounge area, along with a good sized kitchen table with lots of seating (8?). There is also another separate lounge with another large screen TV. We noticed there are DVDs and some games to play. There is extra beds available for larger groups and we noticed a portable cot and high chair which may be useful for young families. The internet is very fast. There was plenty of food to make a good cooked breakfast but we chose to eat up the street....we did enjoy the chocolates though :) The driveway is rather steep up into the narrow garage and bigger cars might have an issue opening their doors once parked in there...but it is lockable for those not wanting to park on the street. The area seems nice and safe and we had a quiet and comfortable night's sleep.

Great Cottage in Gawler

Pros: Historic, great location, clean and comfortable
Cons: Smelled a little cleaning chemical/musty. Needs a diffuser in a non-allergic fragrance (not floral), like vanilla, in the kitchen on entrance.
Location: Vineyards and river. Only 45 minutes to the City and Adelaide Zoo.
A beautiful historic cottage in Gawler close to One Tree Hill where we attended a wedding. Would be great to see the addition of a folder or leaflet with the cottage's history! Very pleasant stay.

Beautiful house

A beautiful character house with everything you could want. A lovely claw foot bath, old world charm and breakfast supplies delivered to our door. Comfortable beds, quiet location.

Nice cottage like a home away from home.

Our experience was great , if had to fault anything would be the squeaky queen bed in main bedroom. Staying in Gawler was central to where were sight seeing. Would definitely stay there again

Central, charming bnb

Pros: Central location
Cons: Fresh breakfast provisions, not international roast coffee, at least fresh milk
Location: Lots of eateries and a cinema in walking distance
Well appointed and equipped kitchen with microwave, full oven, stovetop and washing machine. Great air conditioning, comfy beds and a bath. However,I If you're after a luxurious BnB with lots of extras such as shampoo, conditioner, fresh milk, fresh bread, plentiful breakfast provisions, a selection of herbal tea and and timely communication from your host, this one is not for you. We considered it basic, probably due to the owner not being close by, so a third party prepares the house for guests with long life provisions. Overall, adequate accomodation, a good price, but not luxurious. If that's all you need, then you will be very pleased.

Barossa (Gawler) Family Trip

Pros: Great location. Roomy and well laid out.
Cons: For summer a slightly bigger BBQ would be helpful and maybe more pillows and blankets for the oldies in winter!
Location: There are great walking trails over the road and along the river and a nice walk into city centre.
For my husbands 60th we packed up our family and partners ( 7 ) and trooped off to Gawler where grandparents. 5 brothers, partners and grandchildren live within commuting distance. There were birthdays galore to celebrate and backyard cricket at the ready. To have a lovely self contained 3 x 2 cottage of our own was terrific with plenty of space to recover from the festivities. The cottage was really clean and fresh. The outlook over the river and walking paths was really beautiful and all mod cons were available. Even the weather held off for us!

Pretty disappointing with the amount it cost

Pros: Good location, pretty close to town, Nice bathroom
Cons: Ceiling fans would be nice. Just felt it was a bit over priced for that sort of accommodation. I would expect a newer house for the money spent.
Location: We had a great meal at Fasta Pasta.
We were a little shocked at how small the rooms were. We were expecting "cottage' but got more like "hut" They were also stuffy and we couldn't open any windows. The single bed mattresses were very thin and kids could feel every spring when they lay on them. Main bed pretty comfortable although a ceiling fan would be ideal as stuffy in there also. Very nice bathroom, obviously renovated pretty recently and kitchen not bad. Dining room chairs were a little wobbly though so we were a bit worried about sitting on them. Breakfast was a nice touch and was plentiful. Tea coffee also nice. All in all wouldn't stay there again for that price. Have stayed in far nicer places for that amount paid.

Pretty disappointed

Pros: Close to where we needed to be. Breakfast was a nice touch. Really nice new bathroom.
Cons: Ceiling fans would make it less stuffy. Needs another area with comfy chairs to relax. There was another lounge but it didn't feel inviting.
Location: We were their for a basketball carnival so didn't really get to see much of the town, but lunch at the local Fasta Pasta was a big hit for the family
Close to where we needed to be, so location good but not worth what we paid for it. We have stayed at many holiday homes/hotels over the years and expected much more for the money it cost. The bedroom area is like a little..and I stress little, rabbit warren. Very claustrophobic..and stuffy. The main bedroom was a little bigger but still stuffy and we couldn't open any windows. It is a very old building and it feels like a very old building. I struggled to feel comfortable there. Very nice bathroom, obviously recently renovated and kitchen wasn't bad either. Breakfast left was a nice touch. Overall we wouldn't stay here again for the money it cost.

Pros: Spacious, full kitchen, machine washing. Fantastic location
Location: Town of baler, good pubs with fully enclose playgrounds for small children. Major supermarkets and even a cinema
