The riding school is happy to take a group on a “Trail Blaze”. They require a day's notice for bookings and no prior experience is required.

Outdoor Discoveries

Canoeing

Paddle the serene Margaret River edged with paperbark trees for a peaceful morning or afternoon. If you feel like something more exciting then come paddle the Blackwood River for a day and tackle a few rapids.

Abseiling

Nothing compares to the exhilaration of abseiling down sheer coastal cliffs, guaranteed to get your adrenalin flowing.

Starting on small cliffs and as you become more confident you move on to the 40 metre abseil at the Steel Wall.

Caving

With helmets and head torches you are lead through some of the adventure caves in the region. You chose between walk-through caves with glittering formations, or those requiring a grovel and a squeeze to get you through.

Rock Climbing

Starting at easy grades and introduces beginners to good climbing technique. When ready, you are encouraged to push your limits on the higher grades.

All of the above activities can be designed to suit your specific needs and objectives.


Melting Pot Glass Studio

Visit Gerry Reilly’s studio and experience the heat of the furnace as the hot art glass forms are created.

Select from our extensive collection of art glassware. All made on site and representing the spectacular landscapes extending from the ocean to the desert and to the forests of the south-west.

Boranup Gallery

Nestled amongst the jarrah and karri forests the Gallery offers a unique experience for visitors to the region.

Innovative and creative furniture pieces made from specialty timbers reclaimed from the forest floor. The furniture has been designed by James Howieson and reflects his love of wood and unique sense of design.

A distinctive feature of the Boranup Gallery is the ability of the gallery to keep production completely within the property.

The gallery also house elegant pottery and inspired art pieces by prominent and emerging Australian artists.
