Windsor Lodge covers most accommodation options from Camping to self-contained cabins. The Lodge was established in 1958 and mixes old-world charm with modern touches. Located just 10 minutes south of Taupo town centre, you are out of the bright lights and adjacent to both Lake and River. The Lodge has 8 self-contained cabins, each two-bedroom ideally for families. Main bedroom is queen and second is either 2 singles or 3 singles. All linen is supplied and kitchen is fully equipped.

- Close to waters edge
- Shower ran boing or freezing, jug had to be fiddled with to make it work. Also the bed was hard and the unit very cramped and in need of a renovation.
- We had to wait 30 minutes for someone to book is in as reception door was locked and no-one answered the business phones.
Hi Jaqui (not registered as guest but have connected comments), Best to be honest when appraising and you have omitted many positives including your booking details, late arrival/departure, relocation to 2 bedroom, full facility Cabin at no extra charge. Your partner(?) had booked bed-only accommodation. If only the notice for contact on door had have been acted upon. Happily cleaned up the mess that you left behind. Safe travels.
