< Nishiki Market >
Nishiki Market, established 400 years ago,is said to be "the kitchen of Kyoto" because almost any fresh ingredient can be found here.Enjoy strolling around this market and negotiating or communicating with the sellers !

< Gion to Kiyomizudera Temple >
The area is full of shrines and Buddist temples as well as shops, it is packed with the essence of Kyoto.Start out from the end of the Shijo-oohashi Bridge and stroll down Shijodori Street looking around in the shops on the street. Go straight down to Yasakajinja Shrine.Walking through the shrine and then heading off to Chion-in Temple from Maruyama Park is out first recommendation. It is just lovely during the cherry blossom-viewing season. If you have enough time, go a little farther to Shoren-in Temple. The path connecting the two temple is especially tranquil and tasteful.

Our second recommendation is the most popular sightseeing course in Kyoto. Turn onto Hanamikoji Street heading for Kenninji Temple, enjoying the atmosphere of the Gion Kagai ( Geisha quarters ). Then turn left to go to Kodaiji Temple. If you are lucky, you may be able to catch a glimpse of Maiko and Geiko. Loiter along Ishibeikoji to Ninenzaka Slope. It can be lots of fun to look at the Yasaka-no-to Pagoda from a variety of angles. Go father up the Sannenzaka Slope until you reach Kiyomizuzaka Slope. There are many well established stores and gift shops along the way. The temple gate of Kyoto?s most beloved temple, Kiyomizudera Temple is at the very top of this slope. The temple stretches toward the mountains and the view is fabulous! The Jishujinja Shrine, believed to bring success in love, is at the back of this area. After taking time to offer prayers, stroll down Gojozaka Slope and search for something to buy at the pottery shops on the street.
