Waiwera Motel - is a quiet complex set on a natural back drop of bush and river frontage. Located on the waters-edge in the sea-side community of Waiwera, an easy 45 minutes drive from Auckland. The motel is a 25 minute walk through the bush to the Wenderholm Regional Park and whilst you are close to Waiwera, it feels like you are in the middle of nowhere. The historic town of Puhoi and its unique pub is a 5 minute drive to the north; and Orewa with its supermarket, restaurants and cafes is only 8 minutes to the south.

- easy to find and very peacefull
- unit needed a good clean and the bathroom had some serious water leaks around the shower.
- good hot pools and a very friendly local pub that does a good meal
