Villa Gusto is situated right on the door step of the Victoria High Country, which offers immediate access to a multitude of outdoor & nature-based activities.

• Bush walking: There are a number of tracks in the Mount Buffalo National Park, around Mount Hotham and nearby Dinner Plain. Meander along the gently undulating tracks among the wildflowers in spring, or for something a little different, why not try snow shoeing through the stunning winter wonderland among the beautifully snowladen snowgums.

• Bike Riding: Why not pedal through the tranquil Buckland Valley or along the Rail Trail to either Bright, Harrietville or Gapsted. For the more adventurous, there a numerous mountain biking tracks nearby - like Mt Porepunkah for example.

• Microlights & Scenic Flights: Adventure – With the airfield only minutes away, why not book a Scenic Tandem Microlight or Helicopter flight over Mount Buffalo.

• Fishing - with the splendid rivers around us, conditions are excellent for catching trout – there is nothing better than catching a fish caught in the crisp cool waters of our beautiful mountain streams.

• Wining: Spend an afternoon exploring some of the boutique and well established wineries and sample the cold climate wines of the North East.

• Exploring: With a growing number of interesting shops, antique outlets, eateries and weekend markets, why not indulge in discovering some unusual pieces and crafts.

• Massage: Villa Gusto can arrange relaxation massage, facials, pedicures, etc on location. Advance bookings are essential.
